UPDATE: If you live in the D.C. area, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) is having an International Drone Summit this Saturday that you might wish to attend.

Here we see direct evidence of the rapidly advancing synergy between the Military Industrial Complex and multinational corporations.  Actually, the magazine Multinational Monitor has been charting this for years, and even movies like Operation: Endgame have hinted at this relationship (and satirized it cunningly), so this is nothing new.  

Historically, it all goes back to the Team A and Team B game theory jiggering that the Rand Corporation got going for the CIA with the rise of the neocons in the late ’70s; Alex Abella’s book on Rand can fill you in on that story (fascinating stuff; for a free taste, check out this interview on youtube that infowars did).  This has continued to virally bifurcate into “Team USG” and “Team Corporate,” with the latter gradually taking more prominence (i.e. getting more funding from the drug war) as the dollar loses its grip as world reserve currency.
